Wayne Rooney’s return, unusually, is delayed over and over again. He missed our last six competitive games and will definitely miss the seventh one, the FA Cup tie at Derby on Sunday as he’s had a setback with his hamstring injury in training.

Rooney was expected to be available for the game against Everton, then for the visit at Upton Park and it looked certain that he’ll at least be involved at Derby. Now, however, it is uncertain whether he’ll be fit to face Fulham a week from today which is worrying – we’re missing him very much I feel.

Jonny Evans and Patrice Evra, on the other hand, are in contention to face Derby and are almost certain to be fit for the visit of Fulham. So, that’s it, we end this on this happy note.
