Ronaldo is unlikely to be able to participate in Tuesday’s Champions League game at Villarreal as he picked up an injury in yesterday’s 0-0 draw at Villa Park.

As Berbatov is also likely to be out while Rooney and Tevez are struggling for form, we must be wondering where the goals will come from? We’ve played three games with Villarreal during our history so far and all ended 0-0…

‘His leg is in a mess. He is doubtful for Tuesday,’ Fergie said about Ronaldo. Nani’s set to replace him – and hopefully Anderson will start in midfield, and not Giggs.

So, another 0-0 draw? The second successive overall and the fourth consecutive one against Villarreal? Looks likely as our opponents are in no great shape, losing 3-0 at home… We’ll assess the game in more detail tomorrow.
