Dropping two points, at Swansea, wasn`t in the master-plan.

But it appears that the major talking point of the game revolved around the incident whereby Ashley Williams kicked the ball, at point-blank range, into the head of a prone Robin Van Persie.

After the game, in his post-match interview, Sir Alex Ferguson was fuming about the incident and remarked,

“With the Van Persie situation, you can see clearly that he could have been killed.”

“He (Williams) should be banned for a long time because that was the most dangerous thing I`ve seen for many years.”

“It was absolutely deliberate – the whistle has gone, the game has stopped and he has done it right in front of the referee. It was a disgraceful act.”

Is Sir Alex right or has he over-reacted?
