This afternoon, well 17:30 to be precise, Manchester United takes on Fulham in a 4th round FA Cup tie.
United supporters will be hoping that it is a tie we can safely navigate as we attempt to win a completion we`ve not won for what seems an age.

But, standing in our way is a certain Bulgarian who we know can, on his day, be a match-winner – Dimitar Berbatov.

Berbatov gave United some great service but a lack of first team opportunities saw him seek regular first team football, hence the move to Craven Cottage in the summer.

Sir Alex Ferguson, speaking about Dimitar, ahead of the clash, had this to say,

“He is their best player. I don`t think Dimitar was a failure here. I think he did a great job here.”

“The problem is I had choices and at his age it`s not easy to be part of those choices when he`s not playing.”

“He wanted first-choice football and we gave him the opportunity to go to Fulham.”

“At his age it was the right things to do and he`s done pretty well there.”

Will Dimitar come back and exact his revenge?

It remains to be seen!
