The proposed transfer deal that would bring Paul Pogba to Manchester United, for a world record transfer fee, has still to be sealed.

Although various media vehicles are suggesting it is just a matter of time before the 23-year-old signs for Manchester United in a deal that will see a transfer fee upward of £100 million change hands, the on-going wait is becoming increasingly frustrating.

Over the weekend we saw further evidence that a deal is moving closer with pictures of Pogba being perfectly happy to be pictured signing a red Manchester United shirt, adorned with the number six, for a young fan, but that familiar signature just hasn`t been put on to a contract.

However, our friends over at Sky Sports, Click Here, are reticent that a deal is moving closer.

The popular satellite television broadcaster is adamant that Manchester United are inching closer when it comes to completing the deal.

However, as a Manchester United fan, I`d love to know how far, if we are inching closer, we have to go to tie the loose ends of this deal together, is it a foot, a yard or a mile?
