Perhaps Rashford’s New Contract Deal Isn’t As Certain To Happen As First Believed

|

It seems only a matter of hours ago that I was reporting that Manchester United and Marcus Rashford would not be parting company.

Our article, Click Here, inferred that there had been a breakthrough in negotiations and that it looked increasingly likely that the 21-year-old striker would put pen-to-paper on a financially lucrative six-year deal.

However, despite the above, speculation has emerged this morning that one of Europe’s top clubs could be about to put a spanner in the works.

According to the Spanish news source, Mundodeportivo, the Catalan giants, Barcelona, are interested in securing the services of the England international.

Now quite whether the interest is genuine or whether it has been engineered by the mind of an over-active Spanish journalist remains to be seen.

But, if Rashford were to decide to leave Old Trafford, after coming up through the ranks, Barcelona is, possibly, one of the only clubs he’d consider moving to.

Here at Vital Manchester United, we’ll keep a watchful eye open for any further developments and report back as deemed necessary.
