Opinion: United Look Towards A Far From Viable Solution To A Long Running Scenario

|

As the scenario drags on and on.

The last time, here at Vital Manchester United, we touched on the future of Paul Pogba, we reported how the united-midfielder-was-training-alone-in-new-york.

Since then the situation has developed even further.

It appears that Manchester United if they are forced to sell the French midfielder, they are intent on driving a hard bargain.

Indeed, according to the Spanish news source, Marca, if Real Madrid are intent on adding Pogba to their midfield then they will be forced to cough up a cool £162 million.

But there is a twist in the tail, it is also being reported by The Sun, that Ole Gunnar Solksjaer is set to hold talks with the 26-year-old to try and convince him to remain at Old Trafford for one more season.

The thinking being that Pogba’s presence will help Solksjaer knit together a new-look midfield.

On the surface it appears a good idea, but is it really?

Would Manchester United really benefit from having the Frenchman around when he clearly wants to be elsewhere?

Would his performances be as good as they should be under the circumstances?

I believe the answer is categorically NO!

Just move him on United, like I’ve said before if he isn’t 100% committed to the club then sell him.
