I see our noisy-neighbours have wasted no time in splashing some more cash!

On the back of winning their first top-flight title since decimalization, their mega-rich owners, the Oil Sheiks, have given Roberto Mancini a deal said to be worth a cool £37.5 million making him the highest paid manager in British football.

Here in our Red Towers, we view the deal slightly differently; we see it as being more of a case of having to cough up a huge compensation package when a failure to match the achievement of last season results in his dismissal!

It can be a cruel world!
