A club of the size and world-wide reputation of Manchester United is always going to attract speculation when it comes to being interested in the best players in the world.

Transfer speculation, for some journalists, is like a wish-list, or a bucket list of players to make the club invincible.

We all have our own views as to who we`d like to see in a Manchester United shirt, whether it be the return of Cristiano Ronaldo, Lionel Messi or Robert Lewandowski!

Well it appears, according to the respected media vehicle, ESPN the latter is not bound for Manchester United.

As you`d expect Bayern Munich are in no rush to sell their prolific Spanish striker and that the 28-year-old will remain playing for the Bavarian club, in the Bundesliga, for several years to come.

Now we`ll just sit back and wait and see who will be next to be added to the wish-list!
