St James Park, Newcastle, is Manchester United`s destination this weekend, for a Sunday afternoon Premier League game against Newcastle United.

Ahead of the game we`ve cobbled together some early team news.

Starting with our hosts, Newcastle United:

Rafael Benitez will be grateful that his centre-back, Ciaran Clark, has recovered from a minor knee injury and will be available for selection for this crucial game.

However, the news isn`t so positive when it comes to his recent January transfer window loan signing, Islam Slimani.

The striker has a niggling thigh injury he is struggling to shake off and will require a fitness test ahead of the game.

Continuing with Manchester United;

Jose Mourinho has declared that he has no fresh injury concerns following the previous Premier League game against Huddersfield Town.

However, Jose was able to confirm that one of those on the injury-list Zlatan Ibrahimovic, is back in training but that this fixture has come too soon for the Swede to be involved.

With regards to Eric Bailly and Marouane Fellaini, they remain on the long-term absentee list for the foreseeable future.
