It seems that the drama surrounding the transfer of Phil Jones from Blackburn to United is all but done and dusted.

As well as the implication that Blackburn wanted to hike the price up from the figure of £16.5 million United wanted to pay, there was also the added problem of Blackburn believing that United hadn`t played everything by the book.

It seems that Rovers felt United had been tipped off about the buy-out clause and were contemplating taking matters further.

But, with no complaint registered, after realising that United`s later bid was higher than an initial bid by Liverpool, it seems the problem has all but gone away.

Great to hear is what we say!
