Says somebody who knows Manchester United very well.

With the Community Shield already locked away, Manchester United will be looking to add further silverware to the trophy cabinet this season.

Whilst the Premier League title may be beyond our reach, Manchester United are in contention to claim the GFA Cup, the EFL Cup and the Europa League.

Darren Fletcher, who overcame a debilitating disease to resume his professional career, is now at West Bromwich Albion having made 342 appearances for Manchester United in his 13 years with the club.

Talking about the club and impact Jose Mourinho is having, the 33-year-old Scottish international, speaking to Talksport, has remarked,

“If Mourinho is at United for the next two seasons, I think they will win the league.

“I think they will win silverware this year. I still believe they will get in the Champions League, whether it is by winning the Europa League or finishing in the top four.

“I think they will end up with at least one trophy, if not two. That will be an unbelievably successful season and he will add to the squad in the summer and they will know even more about what he wants.”

Let`s hope Fletcher is right!
