The international break has now concluded and we can all prepare to get ready for the much-anticipated resumption of the Premier League.

However, it seems that Jose Mourinho is not a happy-bunny!

The boss, according to an article in the popular tabloid publication, the Mirror, that England didn`t take better care of Phil Jones.

It`s reported that the versatile defender has returned to Carrington with a recurrence of the niggling thigh injury that has dogged him, causing, according to our source, Mourinho to remark,

“I don`t think it`s possible for a player with a problem to play in a friendly.

“Of course, Phil Jones had a problem. He had a problem for three weeks, problems that are stopping him playing for his club. Then he plays for his club in extreme conditions because it`s a big match against Chelsea.

“Then he goes to the national team and he comes home with an on-going injury that everyone knows is an on-going injury.”

Perhaps, in hindsight, it would have been better to withdraw Jones from the squad, with an injury, before the international break!
