Morata Deal Hits a Problem

Manchester United`s hopes of completing the signing of Alvaro Morata in the next few days could be set to be dashed.

According to the number one tabloid publication this country produces, The Sun, the deal has hit a snag.

Whilst our source champions the inference that Morata is happy to put pen-to-paper on a five-year contract, at Old Trafford, said to be worth £350,000 a week to the 24-year-old, Real Madrid are not happy with the proposed transfer fee.

In fact, it appears that the Spanish giants have rejected an offer of £65 million for the player and are holding out for more.

It seems that Manchester United`s willingness to pay the huge buy-out clause in Antoine Greizmann`s contract, said to be ?100 million, has alerted Real Madrid that there is more money in the Manchester United kitty, money they`d quite like to get their hands on.

Now whether negotiations between the two clubs will come to an amicable conclusion remain to be seen.

However, here at Vital Manchester United we will do our utmost to keep abreast of any developments and report back further.
