After a successful midweek trip, in the Europa League, Manchester United return to Premier League action this evening when they welcome Newcastle United to Old Trafford.
The fixture gives Ole Gunnar Solksjaer’s side a great chance to cement second place in the table while also reducing the gap between ourselves and Manchester City to seven points.
Newcastle, managed by our former centre back, Steve Bruce, are just three points above the relegation places and are involved in a relegation battle. Their recent form sows they have, in their last five games, won two and lost three.
However, we would be foolish to under-estimate them, the Premier League has proven, this season, that nothing should be taken for granted, results wise.
