Could Manchester United’s quest to sign a centre-back to partner Harry Maguire be set to take a very unexpected turn?

Evans, now 32-years-of-age, is currently in the last year of his contract at the King Power Stadium and could be set for what would be an emotional return to Old Trafford.
Before leaving Manchester United, to join West Bromwich Albion, in 2015, Evans spent a decade at the club making 131 appearances.
Since leaving West Brom to join Leicester City, Evans has shown the kind of form that makes many question why he was sold in the first place.
