Manchester United Women vs Everton Women Lineups

The Manchester United line-up has been announced in the hour as they play Everton at home in the Women’s League cup.

United make nine changes to the team who beat Aston Villa 5-0 on Saturday. Ona Batlle is captaining the reds as United look to rest their star players for the Manchester derby at the weekend against City.

In goal, Mary Earps is replaced by backup goalkeeper Baggaley, and two changes to the back four with Millie Turner and Batlle keeping their places, however Le Tissier and Blundell make way for Tounkara and Thorisdottir.

The midfield duo of club captain Katie Zelem and Hayley Ladd are replaced with Risa and Moore. Both United wingers in Nikita Parris and Leah Galton make way for one of the goal scorers last weekend in Rachel Williams and number 17 Lucia Garcia also makes up part of the 11.

Dynamic pair of Toone and Russo are on the bench as Marc Skinner brings in Staniforth and striker Martha Thomas.

The United manager said in the preview of the game against Everton that “We won’t rotate for the sake of it.”[Man Utd]

Everton make four changes to the team that lost to Arsenal 1-0 on December the 3rd. With Brosnan coming in at goalkeeper for Ramsey, Graham makes way for Maier at right back.

The Centre half partnership of Sevecke and George keep their places as Galli comes in at left-back for Stenevik. The Toffees also have an unchanged three in midfield.

The last change is upfront as Brian Sorensen starts Brazillian Giovana who replaces Katja Snoeijs.
