Ole Gunnar Solksjaer’s reign as the new permanent manager of Manchester United, has hit a sticky patch.
The Norwegian needs to lift his troops after they suffered consecutive defeats against Wolverhampton Wanderers (Premier League) and Barcelona (Champions League).
The late afternoon fixture, against West Ham United at Old Trafford, should give Solksjaer the perfect opportunity to do so, with West Ham United hardly in the best of form on the road.
Three points remain a necessity due to the fact Manchester United have slipped down into sixth place in the table having been overtaken by Chelsea and Arsenal.
Manchester United needs to finish in the top-four as our hopes of winning the Champions League, and subsequent qualification for next year, hang on a slender thread after the home defeat by Barcelona.
With the crowd starting to file into Old Trafford as the kick-off looms large, we are now able to bring you the team-sheets to mull over.
