Manchester United v West Brom – Early Team-News

|

The race to finish second continues this weekend when Manchester United welcome West Bromwich Albion to Old Trafford, for a Premier League fixture.

With confidence sky-high, in the United camp, after the astonishing turnaround against Manchester City last time out with Mourinho’s side coming back from 2-0 down to win 3-2, at the Etihad Stadium, surely the three points, against the bottom of the table side, are coming our way.

Ahead of the fixture, we’re able to bring you some early team-news.

Starting with Manchester United:

Jose Mourinho is expecting to be able to call upon the services of Romelu Lukaku, the Belgian striker is recovering from a stomach bug that troubled him.

However, although both Phil Jones and Daley Blind are back in training, following injuries, Mourinho isn’t expected to play either, just yet.

Definitely out, courtesy of injury, is Sergio Romero.

Continuing with West Bromwich Albion:

Those hoping to see the former Manchester United centre-back, Jonny Evans, in action, could be disappointed with the defender troubled by a knee injury.

The Baggies are, however, able to call upon the services of the trio of Nacer Chadli, Sam Field and Daniel Sturridge. The first two proved their fitness playing for the U23 side in midweek, whilst Sturridge has shaken off an injury picked up very early on in a game against one of his former clubs, Chelsea.
