It`s the Manchester derby this Sunday.

A fixture laced with tradition and history.

This time around though it is a fixture that Manchester United just have to win if they are to prevent Manchester City from romping to the Premier League title.

City are currently siting on top of the Premier League table, eight points ahead of United who are in second place.

A win for United would close the gap to a manageable five points whereas a defeat would see the gap grow to a massive eleven points.

Ahead of the game we`ve cobbled together some early team-news.

Starting with Manchester United:

Paul Pogba will miss this game (and the next two Premier League games) after being sent-off against Arsenal last weekend.

Nemanja Matic, although carrying knock, is expected to start.

Also available for selection again are Zlatan Ibrahimovich and Phil Jones.

However, Marouane Fellaini will require a fitness test before a decision is made

Continuing with Manchester City:

Pep Guardiola is expecting David Silva to be fit enough to play after he Spanish midfielder missed the Champions League fixture in midweek with a muscle problem.

A decision will be taken over the fitness of Vincent Kompany, who also didn`t play in the midweek fixture away to Shakhtar Donetsk.

Doubtful, through illness, is Fabian Delph.
