Old Trafford stages a real humdinger of a fixture this afternoon when Manchester United welcome title-chasing Liverpool for a Premier League fixture.
The game gives Ole Gunnar Solksjaer’s side not only the opportunity to further enhance their chances of a top-four finish, thereby ensuring qualification for the financially lucrative Champions League next season, but also to put a spanner in the works when it comes to Liverpool winning their first-ever Premier League title.
It really is the lesser of two evils for Manchester United fans, but, pushed into a corner, I’d have to admit I’d prefer City to win back-to-back titles than see our long-time rivals Liverpool win it.
With the atmosphere, in and around Old Trafford building, we are now able to bring you the team-sheets to mull over.
