This Saturday, in the lunch-time kick-off, Manchester United welcome their old rivals, Liverpool, to Old Trafford for a Premier League game.

The game pitches second (Manchester United) against third (Liverpool) in what is quite probably the fixture of the weekend.

Ahead of the game, we`ve taken the opportunity to cobble together some early team-news.

Starting with Manchester United:

Jose Mourinho has injury problems with two of his squad. Anthony Martial will require a fitness test after the French forward missed the midweek encounter, with Crystal Palace, due to an unspecified injury.

Ander Herrera is another getting close to being available for selection again after recovering from a hamstring injury, however, the Liverpool fixture may have come too soon for the Spanish midfielder to play a part.

Continuing with Liverpool:

Jurgen Klopp will be hoping that Jordan Henderson will have recovered sufficiently from the dead-leg he received in the midweek Champions League game with Porto to play apart in the fixture.

The German boss is now also able to call upon the services of Georginio Wijnaldum who is available for selection again after recovering from an illness.
