Six wins in his first six games in charge, with five of those coming in the Premier League, have seen Ole Gunnar Solksjaer’s remarkable start to his managerial role, albeit in a caretaker basis, pleasantly surprise a lot of people.

The Norwegian has been like a breath of fresh air since replacing Jose Mourinho and, today, goes for a seventh consecutive win, since his appointment, when his side welcomes Brighton and Hove Albion to Old Trafford.
