Manchester United – Tuesdays Transfer Tittle Tattle

|

With Manchester United having made such a poor start to the Premier League game, lying in eighth place with thirteen games completed, speculation is starting to appear relating to who the club might turn to in order to improve matters, either in January or the summer.

Today, we’ve stumbled across two pieces of interesting speculation.

The first emanates from the news vehicle, the Telegraph, which infers that the club are taking a keen interest in the West Ham United striker, Marko Arnautovic.

The 29-year-old Austrian has been in fine form over the last twelve months and, perhaps, might welcome a chance to play for one of the biggest clubs in the land, after spending his Premier league career with Stoke City and West Ham.

The second piece comes courtesy of the news source, ESPN, which is of the opinion that Jose Mourinho quite fancies signing the Belgium midfielder, Axel Witsel.

The 29-year-old is currently on the books of the Bundesliga side, Borussia Dortmund. Our source goes on to infer that during the recent international break Mourinho’s purpose in taking in the clash with Iceland was not to watch Romelu Lukaku but to spy on Witsel.

Now here’s where you come in.

If Manchester United were only able to capture one or the other, which of Arnautovic or Witsel would you prefer?
