Manchester United Top Summer Target Revealed

Once the summer transfer window opens, it will be interesting to see which players Manchester United decide to pursue.

Although we understand that the magnitude of the funds available, to improve the team, may be limited, it remains essential that the squad is improved if the gap between ourselves and Manchester City is to be significantly closed.

Already, speculation has emerged as to who may be Manchester United’s main target.

Although you may have read speculation linking the club with a move for the Borussia Dortmund striker, Erling Haaland, it is being inferred by The Express that another player tops the Manchester United summer wish-list.

The name at the top of the list is the Brazilian forward, Raphina.

Raphinha, 24-years-of-age, is currently on the books of Leeds United with the Yorkshire side having captured the player from the French club, Rennes.

Since arriving in the Premier League, Raphinha has made 21 appearances for Leeds, scoring 5 and also providing 5 assists, but it is his all-round play that has, reportedly, convinced Ole Gunnar Solksjaer that he is the man to improve our side.

Unfortunately, while Raphinha remains on the wish-list, unless Manchester United make Leeds an offer they cannot resist, I cannot see this deal happening, can you?
