As if losing last night wasn’t punishment enough!
Now it seems that Manchester United are to face the wrath of UEFA’s ethics and disciplinary body on February 28th.
However, I can’t say I’m surprised.
Did we really expect anything else when Angel Di Maria was chosen, by someone, as the target for a bottle-throwing idiot?
Thankfully, it didn’t connect and the former Manchester United player simply picked it up, emptied it and tossed it away.
But it seems that wasn’t the only transgression UEFA have objected to.
Manchester United will also have to answer to a charge of blocking stairways.
But it’s not just us that are in trouble.
Paris Saint-Germain will also be in the dock after their supporters let off numerous flares inside the ground.
Quite what the punishments, for both clubs will be, remains to be seen.
However, we await with baited breath.
