Manchester United Please Do Not Let This Happen

|

Sat watching the Saturday early evening football yesterday, it was a pleasure to see our noisy neighbours continue their early-season struggles.

However, Manchester City’s poor start could have ramifications for Manchester United.

Yesterday, here at Vital Manchester United, we ran an article – it-is-a-case-of-it-is-now-or-next-season-when-it-comes-to-manchester-united-signing-this-defender – inferring that if the club and Porto cannot reach agreement over a fee for Alex Telles then the Brazilian left-back would sign a pre-contract agreement, with Manchester United, in January.

To put it bluntly, everything appeared to be cut and dried.

But things could be set to change.

According to 90 Minutes, Pep Guardiola is set to move fast to shore up the fallible left side of his defence and make a move for Telles.

If that is the case, one would hope that Manchester United would move swiftly and get a fee agreed with Porto, otherwise, any hopes of Telles wearing our famous red-shirt will evaporate in a wad of sky-blue cash!

Time to get a move on methinks!
