Manchester United Linked With The Acquisition Of An International Defender

The January transfer window will soon be upon us.

It remains to be seen how active Manchester United will be.

I am probably not alone in hoping that the opportunity is taken to bolster a squad that has, so far, disappointed this season.

As is the norm, the media have not been slow in coming forward and suggesting just who Manchester United might be interested in.

According to The Telegraph, one player Manchester United are interested in is the England international defender, Kieran Trippier.

Trippier, now 30-years-of-age, is plying his trade in Spain, with Atletico Madrid, but is seen as the player to provide perfect competition for Aaron Wan-Bissaka as Ole Gunnar Solksjaer seeks to build a squad that has two top-notch players for each position.
