B>In recent weeks, Manchester United have been linked with the acquisition of the Arsenal playmaker Mesut Ozil.

The 29-year-old German international is at odds with regards to Arsenal when it comes to a new contract, threatening to walk away from the North London club if the new offer isn`t to lie liking.

Arsenal, aware of this fact, could be tempted into a January sale, knowing they`d recoup some money now as opposed to nothing come the end of the season.

But, at the moment, there is nothing concrete coming out of either camp relating to a deal.

However, the news source, the Daily Mail, picking up on something started by the Italian news source, Corriere dello Sport is suggesting that Manchester United could have competition for the signature of Ozil.

Our referenced source is championing the suggestion that the reigning Italian champions, Juventus, are keen to tie up a deal for the midfielder.

An interesting choice for the German to make if he does decide his time in North London is up.
