Manchester United Given Huge Fitness Boost Ahead Of Visit From High-Flying Liverpool

|

The second international break of the 2019 / 2020 season couldn’t have come at a worse time for Manchester United.

Although on the positive side it gives the medical staff, at the club, time to move those who are suffering from injuries towards full fitness, our poor run of recent form that culminated in a loss at Newcastle United, last time out, would have meant the players would have been keen to get back out on the pitch and put things right with a win.

Instead, we’re left to chew over what does lie ahead, a huge Premier League fixture with Liverpool, the runaway leaders of the Premier League visiting Old Trafford.

As far as difficult games go this one, at the moment, really is top of the pile.

However, despite Paul Pogba only playing in two of Manchester United’s last seven games, with the French midfielder being troubled by an ankle problem, The Sun, is reporting that Ole Gunnar Solksjaer is confident that the 26-year-old will be available for selection for this all-important fixture.

If there was ever a time Manchester United needed Pogba to produce a man-of-the-match display then this Sunday is it!
