This summer, here at Vital Manchester United, we fully expect to see some established members of the squad head for the Old Trafford exit.
With the squad set to evolve further under the managerial acumen of Ole Gunnar Solksjaer, it becomes a necessity to move players on in order to balance the books.
Today, The Independent is championing the suggestion that two prominent members of the current squad, Phil Jones and Jesse Lingard, could be set to further their careers playing for a London club.
According to our reference source, our former boss, David Moyes, would like to sign the duo, who are now 28 and 27-years-old respectively, for West Ham United.
Obviously, Moyes sees the duo as being able to improve his current squad who are, as the season approaches its conclusion, trying to avoid relegation to the Championship.
To me, it seems the right time to move the duo on with neither being a regular starter for the club in the Premier League, but is that a view you agree with?
