Manchester United Boss Ready To Take One Last Gamble To Land Summer-Long Transfer Target

|

A surprising piece of transfer tittle-tattle has emerged this morning.

It relates to a player who has not been at the club that long and who was thought to be part of the Manchester United jigsaw for many a year to come.

The player in question is none other than Daniel James.

Seemingly, as reported by ESPN, Ole Gunnar Solksjaer is happy to sell the 22-year-old winger in order to provide further cash to fund a transfer deadline day high profile move for Jadon Sancho.

However, Solksjaer may not get what he wants with our referenced source inferring that the Old Trafford hierarchy are yet to be convinced it is a good move.

But, with a whiff of a possible move in the air, it has not taken long for another source, The Football Insider, to imply that Leeds United would be more than willing to take James off our hands with the Premier League new boys willing to offer £25 million for the winger.

I will stick my head above the parapet and say that James should not be sold and that we are in danger of the never-ending quest to sign Jadon Sancho masking the deficiencies, in the squad, that still need addressing.

Is that a view you concur with or disagree with?
