Manchester United’s stature in the game is always going to lead to the club being linked with a plethora of transfer targets.
Many are just that, speculation, whilst others have varying degrees of truth about them.
This morning, one piece of transfer tittle-tattle is particularly interesting.
According to Goal, Manchester United are among a gallery of clubs who are said to be interested in Ferran Torres.
Torres, just 20-years-of-age, is a winger on the books of the La Liga outfit, Valencia.
Valencia, aware of just how talented Torres is, are keen to tie the player to a new deal but have had no success, so far.
As a result, a gaggle of clubs said to include – Liverpool, Manchester City, Borussia Dortmund, Barcelona, Bayern Munich and Manchester United – are monitoring the situation closely.
As far as a transfer fee goes, the youngster has a buy-out clause of €100 million in his current contract but our quoted source believes that fee could drop due to the current pandemic hit economy and the fact the players current deal is coming to an end.
Once again, sat here in the editorial chair, I can only advise we sit back and wait to see if anything further developments with regards to Manchester United’s interest.
