The last time Romelu Lukaku pulled on our famous red-shirt was in the 1-0 defeat at the hands of Chelsea, at Stamford Bridge.

It was a difficult afternoon for the 24-year-old striker who was eager to impress upon his return to the club where his career in England started.

During the ninety-plus minutes Lukaku failed to have a single touch in the opposition box in what was a poor Manchester United performance.

According to the The Sun, Lukaku was not pleased with what went on and was, according to our referenced source, one of the most vociferous voices in the dressing-room as the inquest began.

However, Lukaku`s mood was very different come Friday night after Belgium had drawn 3-3 with Mexico.

Lukaku got a brace in that game making him Belgium`s joint-highest scorer, prompting the powerful striker to remark,

“At a young age I`ve achieved something great like this which is really good but there is a lot of work to be done and I`m relishing the challenge”

When it comes to the Premier League, Lukaku is experiencing something of a goal drought, hopefully it`ll end this weekend!
