Watching our demise last night, as we crashed out of the Europa League to a very good Athletico Bilbao side, it was noticeable that at some point in the second half, Sir Alex Ferguson decided to accept the inevitable defeat.

With the game beyond us Sir Alex chose to look towards the weekend fixture, with Wolves, withdrawing three key players, something the boss confirmed afterwards when he remarked about the trip to Moulineux,

“It`s an important game, that`s why we took off Rio Ferdinand, Ryan Giggs and Michael Carrick.”

With all our eggs firmly placed in one basket now, to us it`s a move that makes sense to us, how about you?
