No smoke without fire, don`t you just love that saying?

Previously, we`ve dabbled with the possibility that if, or indeed when, David De Gea does inform Manchester United that Real Madrid really is the career move he fancies, the Spurs keeper Hugo Lloris could be a viable option.

Down in North London, the Spurs hordes simply scoffed at the suggestion, yelling that Daniel Levy wouldn`t be doing business with Manchester United, but has the player himself played his joker card when it comes to a possible move.

Reportedly keen to play Champions League football, Lloris has given Spurs supporters cause to raise their eye-brows skywards by admitting that he fancies a move to Old Trafford.

The French keeper, remarking to the press about his future is quoted as having said,

“For the moment there is a goalkeeper at United and we are watchful of the situation. You have to keep a certain calm with all this.

“If things should happen then they`ll happen naturally.”

Shall we really stick the boot in and make a double deal and take Harry Kane as well?
