After watching Manchester United grind out a hard-fought point, against Liverpool, at Anfield, we`ve delved into the record and form books to bring you a few post-match facts and figures.

We hope you find them interesting:

? When it comes to team managed by Jurgen Klopp, Jose Mourinho has, to put it mildly, a poor record. In 8 matches the record books show that Jose has won 1, drawn 4 and lost 3.

? Since Jose Mourinho was appointed as the manager of Manchester United last summer, you may be surprised to know Manchester United and Liverpool have amassed exactly the same number of points from Premier League games – 89.

? The 0-0 draw means that the last 3 fixtures, in the Premier League, have ended in draws, something that hasn`t happened since 1921.

? A win against Liverpool would have seen Manchester United register their best ever-start to a Premier League campaign with 22 points from the first 8 matches. However, the draw does mean that Manchester United have equalled their best start, taking 20 points from the first 8 games, something they`ve achieved on two previous occasions – 2011 / 2012 and 1999 / 2000.

? Since Jurgen Klopp took over the managerial post at Liverpool, his side have won the most points in matches between the ‘big six` in the Premier League, a very respectable 37.
