It appeared to have all gone quiet with regards to a proposed move for Tomasz Kuszczak to West Bromwich Albion.

Last week it seemed almost nailed on that Roy Hodgson would be looking to enter into negotiations with Manchester United over a transfer.

But it transpires that the nailed on move of Scott Carson, to Bursaspor, hit a few paperwork problems.

These have now been ironed out and Carson is set to leave for Turkish football imminently, prompting the grapevine to suggest that Hodgson will soon be making a bid for Kuszczak, in the region of £2.5 million, to take the keeper back to a club he`s already played for.

We`ll do our best to keep you posted on this one!
