It’s one of the games of the season this Sunday when Manchester United make the relatively short trip, to Anfield, to take on Liverpool.
Gone are the days when Manchester United arrived in that part of the world as top-dogs in the division, these days we’re struggling, under Jose Mourinho to claim a top-four place whilst Jurgen Klopp’s side currently lead the way in the Premier League.
Nevertheless, this great fixture should, in what will be a highly charged atmosphere, bring the best out of Manchester United and we’re hopeful that the poor performance the side gave in Valencia, in midweek, will be eclipsed by a barn-storming one today.
Could a hero emerge from the eleven that start this fixture and put a huge dent in Liverpool’s title ambitions?
Let’s hope so.
