As we wait to discover whether David De Gea will remain a Manchester United player next season, one local news vehicle has come up with an interesting conclusion

The Manchester Evening News is of the opinion that the 24-year-old Spaniard may not be driven by money, when it comes to where he continues his career, but that it boils down to a choice more of where he wants to play his football.

It is an opinion that carries some substance, after all modern day professional footballers earn a fair packet and there must come a point whereby there`s enough cash in the bank for even a relatively young footballer to live contently on for the remainder of their lives.

So, if this is the case, what is it to be David De Gea, Old Trafford or the Bernabeu?
