Is Vieira A Realistic Target?

The ex-Arsenal midfielder Patrick Vieira has been linked with a shock move to Manchester United, but is this just newpaper talk?

We all know reporters have ‘dead’ months to fill articles and sell newspapers. And with very little going on before the World Cup, they have to build up speculation – true or fabricated.

Apparently the Juventus player is concerned with the current match-fixing investigation which could result in the Italian champions being relegated to Serie B.

They say Vieira is not comfortable with the current situation and has also recently been linked with a return to Arsenal but has refused to comment on his future.

So will Sir Alex Ferguson see him as a perfect replacement for the man Vieira disliked so much – Roy Keane?
