Is Ronaldo Coming Home?

What a question and how we all hope the answer is an emphatic YES!

But our feeling is that if CR7 is to make an emotional permanent return to Old Trafford, there`s a huge amount of hard-work to be done and obstacles to overcome.

Last week it became public knowledge that the tax authorities, in Spain, believed that Ronaldo was guilty of a large-scale tax evasion, said to be in excess of £12 million, over monies obtained from image rights streams.

Ronaldo, after giving his all for real Madrid, obviously feels that the charges are unjustified and as a result wants to not only cut his ties with Real Madrid but exit Spain altogether.

But if that is the case, it`s patently obvious that only a few of the top-teams in European football, have the financial clout to try and lure the 320year-old to their humble domains.

Manchester United is one such club, it is also a club which CR7 has in his heart and a return to where he made his fame could be the answer to his problems.

Real Madrid know that CR7 has a hefty buy-out clause in his contract, but it is generally thought a figure in the region of £175 million would secure the deal.

Although some might say that at 32-years-of-age Ronaldo is approaching the end of his career, the manner in which he`s lived his life suggests he could play on until he`s at least forty.

But would the transfer fee actually be a problem when you consider the revenue streams associated with the brand CR7?

Today, several news sources are implying that Real Madrid are themselves looking to solve the problem by paying any fine / tax needed after Ronaldo is found guilty.

However, the mere fact his integrity has been questioned suggests, to me, CR7 could be on his way back home.

And what a marvellous reception he`d get.

“Is Ronaldo coming home?” Well, home for him would be Madeira, so I doubt that he is “coming home”. Secondly, the fees being mentioned are a little ridiculous when you consider his age, which you clowns put at 320 years old.
So, when you extract the rubbish from this afticle, there is actually nothing left.
