However Frank De Boer feels he’s got little chance of luring Daley Blind away from Manchester United.

De Boer recently took over at Inter Milan when former Manchester City boss Roberto Mancini moved on with an interest in Blind confirmed by his countryman but his former Ajax boss doesn’t hold much hope of getting him.

Blind was considered as a player who could have struggled to keep his place under Jose Mourinho but so it’s a case of so far so good for the Dutch international with De Boer saying he ‘knows his situation’ at United with the 26-year-old happy at Old Trafford.

With Blind so happy with United he’ll not be able to lure him to the Sin Siro with De Boer quoted by the Evening News as saying.

‘We have a lot of good defenders here but we`ll see. I like him as a player for sure, he`s fantastic. He is very happy at Manchester United though and played in the Community Shield. I know his situation and I think he`s very happy and playing with confidence but we`ll see in the future.’

That should be the end of these talks then!
