Less than twenty-four hours ago, press speculation was heavily hinting that Henrikh Mkhitaryan was heading back to his former club, Borussia Dortmund.

Today though a possible different scenario has emerged with regards to the future of the Armenian international who has fallen out of favour under Jose Mourinho recently.

The good folk of the news vehicle, Talksport, have picked up on something mentioned by the Italian news source, Gazzetta dello Sport.

Our referenced source is reporting that the Serie A side Inter Milan, are looking at the possibility of taking the 28-year-old midfielder on loan, in January.

However, and this could be a sticking point, it is also mentioned that Inter cannot commit to a deal whereby a permanent deal, for Mkhitaryan, could be done in the summer.

Here at Vital Manchester United we`ll keep an eye out for any further speculation relating to the future of the Armenian captain.
