Opinion: I’m All For Selling This Manchester United Midfielder He’s Frustrated Me Enough

|

Column inches relating to the future of our very expensive midfielder continues to attract my attention.

Now whether Paul Pogba will be a Manchester United player come to the start of the 2019 / 2020 season I can’t say for sure one way or the other, but let’s just say I wouldn’t be prepared to put my mortgage on the Frenchman staying.

During the last forty-eight hours, speculation continues to gather momentum relating to a possible move to Juventus a club who are, at present, currently without a manager.

The first piece of tittle-tattle comes courtesy of Sky Italia who simply point out that Juventus want to re-sign a player they once had on their books with Pogba residing in Turin from 2012 to 2016.

The second piece comes from closer to home with the Guardian pointing out that Juventus have actually contacted Manchester United about signing the player whilst also adding bulk to their article by claiming that the 26-year-old would be quite happy to clear his Old Trafford locker for a second time and join the current Serie A title holders.

To an outside looking in, it would appear like an elongated version of Groundhog Day with Pogba destined to live a life spread between Manchester and Turin.

But, veering away from that poor attempt at a comparison, I have to ask myself whether I’d be upset if Pogba were to leave the club, again.

The answer would be NO!

Now I’m not sure if it’s a view you concur with but if Ole Gunnar Solksjaer is the one to resurrect our fortunes he’ll be looking for players that perform week in and week out, players that you can rely on to give a 7 out of 10 performance every game, not those who can drift through 90 minutes and offer next to nothing.

Harsh but, in my opinion, true.

Please feel free to offer your viewpoint on the above subject matter in the comment facility beneath this article.

So to me let him go coz if we lost DB7,cr7, rvn10 n others hu is he to be bigger than da club.let the board sign Fernandez, ndobele n eriksen then Maguire, delight as well as Madison
