A lot has been written, recently, with regards to the future of our Swedish striker Zlatan Ibrahimovic.

Our top-scorer`s future remains undecided with Manchester United supporters hoping that the 35-year-old will decide to showcase his talents for a second season at Old Trafford.

However, it appears that, according to the Daily Mirror, one condition must be met.

Our reference source suggests that Ibrahimovic will only sign on the dotted line for a second season if Manchester United are playing Champions League football next season.

At thirty-five years of age, Ibrahimovic is at the stage of his career whereby he feels he has one more Champions League campaign in him before he heads for a swansong in the MLS.

If that is the case, Manchester United have two options when it comes to qualifying for the Champions League, either securing a top-four place or by winning the Europa League, you`d imagine both are within our grasp.
