The goal-scoring feats of Zlatan Ibrahimovic, in the Premier League this season, have undoubtedly proven that the 35-year-old is still a potent striker at the top level of the game.

However, being as successful as Zlatan has been this season continues to throw obstacles in the path when it comes to securing the services of the Swedish striker for next season and possibly beyond.

This morning, the sports pages of The Sun carry a small article that supports the point made above.

The article, no larger than half a dozen lines in length, covers the fact that there is interest in Ibrahimovic from across the pond.

According to the referred to source, LA Galaxy are looking to entice Ibrahimovic to the land of Uncle Sam.

Dangling on the end of the rod is a salary said to be in excess of £11 million a year.

Perhaps the interest from LA Galaxy will be sufficient for Manchester United to take the bull by the horns and give Zlatan the 2-year contract that he, seemingly, desires.
