Down at the Liberty Stadium, on Sunday afternoon, our Swedish striker Zlatan Ibrahimovic, ended his goal drought with a brace of goals.

Ibrahimovic had, prior to the Swansea fixture, scored just once in his last eleven appearances.

The two goals the 35-year-old Swede netted, took his total to 400 in club football, something he is immensely proud of.

Talking to the media following the 3-1 victory and commenting on reaching the 400 goal mark, Zlatan remarked,

“It is a lot of goals.

“It means I have more goals than many people have games.’

But whilst the two goals were most welcome and helped Manchester United to the three points on offer, it wasn`t a perfect afternoon for Ibrahimovic.

The striker picked up his fifth yellow card of the season and will now be suspended for the crucial Premier League fixture against high-flying Arsenal on November 19th.
