Right! Who was it who, supposedly, tabled a huge bid for the Real Madrid forward James Rodriguez?

News being brokered by the Daily Star, Click Here, is that an unnamed Premier League club has bid a whopping £72 million for the referenced player.

Having fallen down the pecking order at Real Madrid, the inference being given is that Rodriguez would welcome a move to the Premier League and that the spotlight has fallen on the three clubs who are said to have expressed an interest in the player, the three clubs being – Chelsea, West Ham and Manchester United.

With Jose Mourinho, ahead of the Community Shield having hinted there will be one more addition to the squad (Paul Pogba), Jose is obviously being very coy or has already included Pogba in his numbers.

But something, possibly gut instinct, tells me it isn`t Manchester United who has tabled the bid!
