A win yesterday, against West Ham United, courtesy of two penalties from Paul Pogba, has lifted Manchester United to within striking distance of a top-four finish.
However, it is by no means certain that Manchester United will finish third or fourth behind Liverpool and Manchester City, there is still a lot of graft to be done.
But what is blatantly obvious is that Manchester United are some way behind Liverpool and Manchester City when it comes to winning the title.
That is something that, according to the news source, the Sunday Express, that will be addressed this summer.
Our referenced source is reporting that the club are set to provide Ole Gunnar Solksjaer with a huge summer transfer chest, with circa £200 million to spend.
If that is correct, and we’ve no reason to doubt it, that will be the largest ever transfer kitty handed to a manager for a summer spending spree.
But the big question remains just who and how the cash will be spent!
If you were given the chance, how would you spend that sum of money?
Would you invest in two world-class players or would you bring in four players for around the £50 million mark?
